An official transcript is sent by the Head Registrar office in Ottawa, KS and is sent in the mail one or two weeks after the ending date of your PEP course (Depends how fast the instructor turns the grades in to OU transcript system). Please understand that your final grade in Blackboard does not mean the grade is in the Transcript system, the instructor has to turn them into the transcript system 3 or 5 days after the ending date. You will receive one free transcript and it is sent to your home address. If you need another transcript, please request it after you have received the official transcript in the mail. Otherwise you will get an official transcript with "IP" (In Process) for the grade because the instructor has had not submitted the grade to the University as of yet. Once you receive your transcript in the mail and you open the envelope it becomes unofficial.
For an official transcript please go to the link
www.ottawa.edu/transcript and follow the directions listed. Official transcript cost is $15 for an E-transcript and $20 per transcript for a mailed one. Mailed transcripts with expedited processing continue to be $45.
First time requesting a transcript with the Parchment Exchange company you will need to "Create Account" with Parchment Exchange. They will ask for an email address and a password that you create. It is not the Ottawa University username or password.
